Subject:  American Law, American Courts Bill

Goal:  Eliminate International Law or any other law from superseding the Florida Constitution or the U.S. Constitution.

 

Subject:  Sheriffs First Bill

Goal:  Prevent Feds from entering a respective county to harass citizens without the written permission of the respective County Sheriff, enforceable by law.

 

Subject:  Right to Hunt and Fish Amendment

Goal:  Secure the right of Florida residents to hunt and fish within the state. (Many states are enacting because of Federal intrusion on these rights)

 

Subject:  An Act Prohibiting the Confiscation of Lawfully Owned Firearms During a State Emergency

Goal:  Ensure the Second Amendment rights of all Floridians are preserved during emergencies in order to protect themselves and their property vice what occurred during Hurricane Katrina where citizens’ lawfully owned weapons were confiscated and they were left defenseless.

 

Subject:  FL Statute 381.00315(1)(b) Mandatory testing, treatment, quarantine, vaccination

Goal:  Repeal this statute which makes mandatory testing, treatment, quarantine and vaccination by force allowable as well as jail and fines for FL citizens.

Goal:  Authorize and commence in-state manufacture of weapons and firearms

Goal:  Consolidation of county services to conserve revenue

On February 3, 2011 Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz, Dist. 4 addressed the Florida Panhandle Patriots meeting. He said in numerous instances, local governments are imposing restrictions on guns, including the prohibition of carrying a concealed weapon on public property and requiring micro-engraving of ammunition. One man was arrested in a graveyard for carrying his concealed weapon while visiting his son's grave.

Rep. Gaetz has introduced HB 45 to prohibit local governments from infringing on Florida citizens' right to bear arms. This bill will be will will be heard Tuesday Feb 8th in the Criminal Justice Subcommittee.
